Kristan
Founder & Chief Surveyor
RMIT, BAppSci (Geomatics)
Kristan founded 5D Surveying and leads our survey work. An RMIT graduate in Applied Science (Geomatics), he has extensive industry experience, including time at one of Australia's largest surveying firms, and has worked as Project Surveyor on major subdivision and construction projects nationwide. As Chief Project Surveyor on the Indian Ocean Drive highway in WA he managed three field crews, equipment procurement, quality control and risk assessment, reporting directly to directors.

Wil
Managing Director & Chief Remote Pilot
BAppSci (Surveying), Honours 1st Class
Wil graduated with First Class Honours in Applied Science (Surveying) in 2021 and has worked with Flat Out Surveying and 5D Surveying ever since. He started out on the Echuca-Moama Bridge as project surveyor, then led survey on the Huntly, Raywood and Goornong railway stations. Operating out of Echuca, he handles everything from small residential feature surveys and subdivisions to larger commercial builds, and heads our drone operations as Chief Remote Pilot, carrying all the licences needed for aerial and volume surveys.

Managing Director
RMIT, BAppSci (Geomatics), 22 years' experience
Rob studied Applied Science (Geomatics) at RMIT and brings 22 years of experience across numerous top-tier construction companies. As Survey Manager on major civil, subdivision and infrastructure projects he has led multiple field crews, managed survey operations and equipment procurement, and run quality control and risk assessment, including 24-hour crews on the Ballarat Line Upgrade.
