As-built records that are actually complete
An as-built built from selective measurements records only what someone chose to measure. A scanned as-built records everything the laser could see, which is why it holds up when a Nagambie project is later modified, extended or handed to someone new. We register scans to survey control so the record sits in real-world coordinates, then model or draw from it as required. Nothing is reconstructed from memory or assumption, because the underlying capture is still there to check against.
