Accuracy that supports fabrication
When steel or precast is being fabricated to fit an existing structure, the survey behind it has to be right to the millimetre. Scans registered to survey control deliver that accuracy on hard surfaces, giving fabricators dimensions they can cut to rather than allowances they have to build in. On Seymour projects we scan the interfacing structure completely, so the model reflects real conditions including the out-of-square and out-of-plumb that every existing building has somewhere.
